President of Qingdao Redcollar Group Mr Zhang Daili signed with president of Qingdao Agricultural University Li Baodu. This remarked the establishment of agricultural science and research base that Qingdao Redcollar Group and Qingdao Agricultural University set up together.

The signing ceremony was held in Laixi city of Shandong province, city commission sectary Wang Jiujun of Laixi, vice-president of Qingdao Agricultural University Song Xiyun and Wang Wei took part in the ceremony under the direction of mayor of Laixi city.

This base was located in Liquanzhuang county, Laixi city, Shandong province, took an area of 300 acres. The building area was 8600 square meters. At present, ￥20，000，000 has been invested. After the start of the project, Qingdao Redcollar Group was mainly responsible for hardware investment and initial capital; Qingdao Agricultural University would organize experts and professors to concentrate on research in scientific & technology field.

The initial plan of the project was to build agricultural science and research laboratory of gene and clone technology; to build multi-science and multi-project labs and science & technology centers for gene, farm chemicals and clone technology; to launch multi-fields, multi- discipline comprehensive research for animals and plants, genes, farm chemicals and vaccine etc. Therefore, an agricultural science & technology industry chain of research, expanding and profits of science and research would be set up step by step.

The base would also build in industrialization of healthy food planting testing areas and specialized practical experiment areas such as plant research, experiment planting area, animal breed, cultivation area and senior fungi etc. What’s more, it would build expert meeting room to provide room for communicating and learning.

President Mr Zhang Daili of Qingdao Redcollar Group said that in order to perform social duties, invest some energy and capital to dedicate its strength and create profits, Redcollar Group would took advantage of its capital and resource, helped the university to activate science and technology, transfer activity of science and research team to increase research and development and transform of agricultural science & technology achievements.

President of Qingdao Agricultural University Li Baodu addressed in the signing ceremony. He said, the establishment of base realized the combination of “wise” of Qingdao Agricultural University, “capital” of Qingdao Redcollar Group and “advanced location” of Laixi city. At the same time, the university got rid shortage of capital, research and development capabilities and attracting investment; was a new cooperation model of politics, industry, learning and research. He expressed that the base provided a new platform for college students to “serve agriculture, farmers and rural areas”. Qingdao Agricultural University would do its best to grow stronger and stronger in Laixi and dedicated new strength to the development of economy and society.

City commission sectary Wang Jiujun and other leaders of Laixi also expressed their congratulations and support for the establishment of the agricultural science and research base.
